FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER
Job Summary: We are looking to add additional team members for field support relating to our Hunter Xcor and CPD Hunter products. The position requires travel to customer install sites to perform product installations, train customers on how to best use the product, and to troubleshoot as necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Associates degree or 2 years of applicable technical training
  • 1-2 years hands on headend experience
  • 1-2 years proof of performance testing
  • A strong background in customer service and support
  • Ability to travel 60-80% of the time as needed
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and accurately and reliably communicate with others
  • Proficiency with a spectrum analyzer and other CATV test equipment
  • Background and knowledge of CATV system design and practices
  • Knowledge of computer networking techniques and computer proficiency
  • Knowledge of radar technology a plus
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Travel to customer locations and install CPD Hunter equipment
  • Demonstrate equipment to CATV system staff
  • Train users of the equipment on proper operation and efficient hunting techniques
  • Provide phone and / or on-site support to assist with troubleshooting
  • Provide feedback to sales to support ongoing sales efforts
  • Generate and complete trip reports
