Quiver Navigator is an important component of the Hunter System and is used in the field to
find the exact source of the network problem. After the
time distance to the CPD source has been determined by Quiver, this number is
input into the Quiver Navigator.
Quiver Navigator contains two main elements – a database of all the
devices connected to a specific node and electronic maps of the node. The
user selects their current node and location using simple drop-down menus,
and then enters the time delay shown on the Quiver. The map is automatically
updated with lines showing the direction and path to the candidate devices,
and the devices themselves are flagged.
Quiver Navigator operates on either a laptop or PDA platform.
